Her collection focuses on the 1960's contemporary art which includes a number of works by Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein, Chuck Close and Gerhard Richter. The artworks will be permanently displayed at an expansion project at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art which will be completed in 2016.
The Gap co-founder is also a noted philanthropist and her focus is education.
